Since 2017, Project Why Not has been dedicated to providing free education and support to the local community in Lombok, Indonesia. As a non-profit organization funded solely by donations, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their circumstances. By working hand-in-hand with the local community, we empower children to build strong learning foundations, nurture creativity, and inspire confidence, paving the way for a bright and promising future.

Where we are based

The Klui Village Learning Centre is located on the island of Lombok in Indonesia.

Just a short plane or boat ride from Bali, Lombok is often described as the 'Bali of old' - largely untouched, beautiful beaches and spectacular scenery.

Graduation day is even sweeter when the whole family is there to celebrate. 🎓🌴 We believe that a child’s growth happens both at school and at home, and seeing so many loving families here today reminded us exactly why that matters. Thank you to every parent, grandparent and family member who shows up, stays involved and makes these moments possible. Together, we are raising something beautiful. 🌺

Yesterday was a special day! @tanja.dmr came to the school to teach the kids about healthy teeth and dental care together with @patock_ 🦷. Tanja is a dental assistent in Germany and she put together an information sheet for the parents so that they can help the kids take care of their teeth! Let’s go for GIGI SEHAT! 🙏🏼
